I haven't posted in a while because things have been super busy.I started writing emails to all our friends and family everyday. My meet up group has become a success! Our first meeting went great and we have a second one scheduled in about a week. Samantha and I are working on scheduling one in DL. We have even expanded to Fargo! Yeah! I am so glad I did this. I was nervous but it was worth it. I have met some really nice, interesting people that I have a lot in common with.
We took family pictures and they turned out great especially with how mobile Adele was. We've become good friends with Jeff and Mike and they both love photography so how great is it to have a photographer for a friend! We have hockey tickets for tonight. I've never been to a game. I think it will be fun. Then we have to get up early and go to Shaun and Tiffany's wedding in Cavalier this weekend. We booked a hotel room in Grafton. It has a pool and we have a jacuzzi in our room. Thank you military discount.
I have good news and bad news from PT. The bad news is that I have a lot of things wrong with my knees, ankles, and feet that require a lot of lifestyle changes but the good news is that I've gotten special foot lifts and exercises to try and strengthen a lot of areas that should help. I'm not allowed to do squats, lunges, and running is a huge no. I'm not suppose to push through the pain so a lot of workouts might end up short. I can't do a lot of stairs or bending. Things that require twisting (think dance or aerobics). And it's going to take a lot of time to get to a point where I can maintain the best I can. So it is frustrating as I've just gotten into working out and I love lifting weights and running was great for calorie burn. But I'm happy that I'm preventing future damage. Plus it might push me to try things I haven't before. Do a lot more yoga, swimming, and learn to tone in other ways than weights.
Adele loves to draw, especially on herself.:) She's getting so big. She also loves climbing and push objects together to climb on. She's been on the kitchen table, our desk, any horizontal service higher than she is.
I gave Amadon his new monitor with a scavenger hunt and he loved it.
Well, I am off to pack and get ready for our weekend. WIll update more later.
